Spanish--Ms. Alcocer-Ruiz teaches Spanish I, II, and III. Anyone can sign up for Spanish as an elective. If you are in the dual immersion program, you also take your history class in Spanish with Mr. Sanchez.
Leadership--Ms. Renee's Leadership class does many things including organizing dances, spirit weeks, making announcements, designing ideas for the campus, helping teachers, and much more.
Drama--The drama class learns techniques for acting, and performs a play every year in the spring. The class is taught by Ms. Renee.
Gateway to Technology--A 3D modeling and computer design elective, taught by Mr. Pohl.
Music--Students may take beginning, intermediate, or advanced band with Ms. Carrico. Students learn to play instruments, read music, and perform several times during the year. Jazz band is also offered during zero period.
Art--Ms. Alcocer-Ruiz teaches art. Students will learn various techniques throughout the school year, with multiple opportunities to display their art on campus.
Clubs & Events
Math Club--Math club meets every Wednesday at lunch in Room 7. Come to do math challenges, get help with your math homework, and maybe even get extra credit from your math teacher.

Spirit Week--The school has a spirit week four times per year, and each day has a different theme. This is organized by the student body council.
Student Body Council--Student representatives are elected to the student body council. They meet regularly and
Peer Mediation--A group of students is trained in peer mediation. When there is a conflict, students can go to their counselor, the administration, or Ms. Renee. Peers can help students work out their conflicts.
Peer Education--A group of students is trained in peer education and is working with Ms. Booker to develop classroom presentations on various issues.
National Junior Honor Society--The honor society meets once per month and includes students who are on the honor roll and do service for their community.
Library RATS--The Library Reading and Tech Stars advise Ms. Bogie, help with library displays and promotion, and learn about new tech tools.
Spoken Word Team--This club is new for the 2015-2016 school year and will meet in Ms. LaDue's room after school.
Gay-Straight Alliance--The GSA is for all students who want to help create a safe, accepting, inclusive campus environment.
